ETA Conference: Web 2.0 Workshop

Colleagues,

Far too often at conference ‘workshops’ are merely lectures in masquerade…not today!

Now that you have listened to my brief presentation, attempting to define the Web 2.0 and it’s impact, lets try and establish the beginnings of the Personal Learning Networks (PLN) discussed earlier.

You may wish to choose your path from the following suite of options (and be able to pursue a PLN post-conference):

*You can find all my saved videos (collected using VodPod) here.

It would much appreciated if you can post any comments about the workshop – and, stay in touch.

  1. Thanks for the workshop, Darcy – lots of thoughts to take home!

  2. Glad you found my posts on PLN useful. I’m planning to update my information this Thursday with the latest data from my PLN survey.

Also have a PLN toolbox ready to go as a self help “how to” work through the process of setting up your own PLN – will be linking to it in Thursday’s post.

  3. Thanks Sue. I was really chuffed with the large number of people who took the time to reply to my request on Twitter. I have seen you and others use this technique and hoped it would work for me too. It was very cool and I think the delegates were extremely impressed with Twitter. Everyone love the Twitter Lovesong too.

  4. The amazing part of the people responding in twitter is they really love it if you are at a conference and ask them to say hi. I also sent out a tweet to my network asking them to reply to you. Hopefully that helped.

The twitter love song is great. I also love I’m so over Facebook.

  5. A great Web 2.0 blog post http://jagibson19.wordpress.com/

  6. Hi Darcy
Love what you are doing with the Web 2.0!
